The police department is a non-civil service municipal police consisting of the Chief of Police and 15 officers. We have 1 Lieutenant, 4 Sergeants, 5 Corporals, 5 patrolmen, which includes 2 officers assigned to the detective bureau, and 2 records clerks.

New Child Passenger Safety Law
The Child Passenger Safety Law requires all children up to the age of EIGHT to be properly secured in a federally approved child safety seat or booster seat. If the child reaches the height of four feet nine inches before his or her eighth birthday, a seat belt then becomes legally sufficient.
