Barboursville Police Department

Call 911 for Emergencies

Administrative office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Thank you for visiting the Village of Barboursville Police Department. We are a non-civil service Municipality employing 17 officers, a working K-9 and two civilian employees. We are very proud of our Village and take pride in our ability to maintain safety in our area. We are home to one of the largest malls in the State of West Virginia as well as a smaller Mall just one exit away. Our general population is relatively small, however, we are a main thoroughfare on Interstate I-64 to both Kentucky and Ohio. Because we are a smaller community we are able to police our residential and business district with extra diligence and manpower to ensure our residents their communities are safer. This department displays pride and teamwork as our strength in maintaining a working relationship with each other and surrounding agencies. Because we are center of the county, we are able to work with other agencies in providing the best protection possible for our jurisdiction. We pride ourselves in our community policing and quick response to emergency calls.
